Given that you didn't think we needed any sort of system information, I can only assume you're talking about an older Pentium 4 system using a "quad-pumped" front side bus. Since memory of that era could not even theoretically run at a speed of 533MHz, the system took the default FSB of 133MHz and quadrupled the data path internally, giving this pathway a speed of 533MHz for internal communications. If this is not the type system you have, then it would be useful to include some basic system specs.
