80mm cpu fan
I'm sure this has been asked many times before but here goes again. I found an old cpu fan adapter that allows me to replace my current stock AMD 60mm fan with the adapter and convert to an 80mm case cooling fan for my 1800+ with stock heatsink. Is there any use in installing the adapter and using the 80mm case fan on my heatsink? Will it lower my cpu temp at all? My current cpu temp is around 43C to 49C. Have any of you tried this?
