stashu17, as Lsdmeasap stated your problem could be anything from a single component to nearly all components. The power switch is probably one of the more robust electrical parts and therefore not likely to be the only damaged part even if it is toast. You pretty much need compatible spare parts to properly test your system. The idea of borrowing someone elses parts to test with is not always a great idea either just in case you get lucky and fry their parts while testing.
