Default 4-4-4-12 latencys on GA-P35-DS3R

I have this 2x1G kit of A-data Vitesta EE 800+ that is suposed to run at 4-4-4-12 timings with a DDR voltage of 2.0-2.1V.
So I set the above timings and DDR voltage to +0.2 in BIOS on my first board which was a DS3L rev 2.0 and it died on me (well known endless boot cycle) I have it RMA and exchenged for a DS3R rev2.1. Now I am a little afraid to try that again, since I read people also had the same problem with this board. What do you guys suggest to do in order to run my pc safe and stable with my DDR at the 4-4-4-12 timings at 800MHz? Should I increase the MCH and/or FSB voltage too?

PS: my PC specs (in case they help): Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3GHz (9x333), GA-P35-DS3R (2.1), kit 2x1G DDR2 A-Data Vitesta EE 800+, Galaxy GeForce 8600GT 512/128, HDD WD 160G Sata2, HDD WD 500G Sata2, DVD/RW - IDE, PSU Sirtec 460W
