Default Re: GA-P35-DS3 - what do the phase leds mean?

Cpu=http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115037 Stock cooling

Motherboard=Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P Ultra durable 3

Bios version=F7

RAM= Corsair 2x2GB TWIN2X4096-8500C7

But what does that sound mean? It must mean something or it shouldn't make that sound. Nevertheless, my equipment is totally new. Could something be defected? or could it just be the OS? Because when I'm trying to launch it with safe mode it freezes at a .sys file and then restarts.
