Default First Water Cooling Setup

I’ve talked about going to water but was always afraid of a leak, so I decided to put the bulk of the connections outside the case.

Two 1968-71 Ford T-Bird heater cores, (9.75h x 6w x 2.5”d, 248 x 152 x 64mm, Fin Area)
Four Scythe Ultra Kaze 120 x 38mm fans
Scythe Kaze Master fan controller
Swiftech MCP655 pump
Tubing size ½” adapted to 3/8” at the in & outlet, until I replace my NB block
PS is an old 400w rewired for this setup
Reservoir is a large stainless steel food storage container w/ locking lid
Running distilled water, (about 1.5 gal) w/ a 1oz silver trade piece w/ a rainbow trout embossed on it for a bio agent.
Lot bigger than I imagined, but it works. Add a little anti-freeze, forced air this coming winter and a few ice cubes in the reservoir, cheap chiller.

Results w/ a Q6700 lapped at 3.6, voltages in the screenie, EK Supreme on the CPU, stock block on the NB, board flat on the bench.
At the time of the screenie the system has been up about three to four hours, room was at 22-24c

4.1 @ 1.59v Idle Temps
