its not that it remembers the overclock and bios settings but it doesn't display them or save anything in the bios it just reverts to showing auto...

Solved. I took out every drive, ensured C: was in SATA 1, Data Drives in 2,3,4 and OPticals in 5 and 6. Two more Data drives on the Marvell ports...
