MS Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 U

I´m gonna buy this joystick soon, but there are a couple of things regarding that stick that I haven´t found anywhere (not even Microsoft´s web page!!!):

1) How much does it weigh?

2) How much space does it require from the desk?

Good choice.
I've got this one myself. You need room for a circle with a diameter of about 25cm. As for weight; I would guess about 2 kilo's. It is a very solid joystick. With a VERY powerfull force feedback. In the beginning there were some problems with VIA chipsets, but under XP it works like a charm

I sure love this stick! IMHO it won´t weigh even 1kg... :rolleyes: It´s working really good with my nForce 2 mobo. I´m guessing this is the best joystick around (at least in my local computer store). There was some Thrustmaster´s a bit more expensive joystick, but IMO the full sized throttle lever is a little exaggerated and there wasn´t so many buttons than in the Sidewinder. :cheers:
