icon file names have an extension .ico and not .icon

Ok that registry entry is confusing, I put the exact location of where the icon is but it isnt working.
C:\Icons\Cobalt\Icon07.icon
etc.
etc.
And it doesnt work. I remember coming across a spot in Windows where you can just click change icon for the Recylcle Bin I just don't remember where.

in Win 98 you can change them in the display properties, under the effects tab.
The reason a diamond shines so brightly is because it has many facets which reflect light.
do it in XP like this.
Go to Display properties (that right clicking on desktop and all).
Desktop tab --> Customize Desktop
General Tab in next window. Yup yup, you got there :thumb:
