Question about extreme 7 lga 2011.
Can the BIOS Intel rom be changed from enterprise to the regular rom ?
I can't find any info about the enterprise rom supporting TRIM in RAID.
Hello, I run a Z68 Extreme 4 board with the beta bios L2.05. I just have been blocked on the UFI start screen from a reset. It's the only problem i found.
The subject of my message is when an official bios will be relased for this card. The last one is the 1.70 that is almost 1 year old.
Yeah, I have a problem with the 2.20 BIOS (it appears to be similar to the one I downloaded for my Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 based on feature support added): Installing it pseudo-bricked my mobo (with an i5-2500K). I can boot into repair mode, but I can't repair anything. I can do system restore, but it doesn't effect anything beneficially. Attempting to boot into full Windows 7 64- Ultimate causes a blue screen and system reset in under 2 seconds (SSD boot drive). I am going to try downgrading back to 2.10 later this evening when I have time. I would actually like to locate the original shipping bios and try to restore that, as well, if 2.1 doesn't go well, but I haven't located it on the ASRock site yet.
update:
Dropping back to 2.10 fixed my boot problems. I will probably wait to go back to 2.2 until after I have an IB CPU already installed.
