Can you borrow a ps/2 keyboard to test with?
Maybe your keyboard will work if you use a usb (female) to ps/2 (male) adapter.

ok i went out and bought a new keyboard today out of frustration after having tried some borrowed keyboards from my friends it was a sidewinder 4 and guess what it dose not work same old problem as for asrock tec help i emailed them a month ago and not even an auto replay to say they would get back to me no help there at all no help from emily either so thats it i think this can only be sorted by a b.i.o.s update and i dont think they will do it for this board but the least they can do is if there is any keyboards working with this board please let people know so we dont spend our money on keyboards that dont work i for one will never buy or recommend an asarock product ever again i feel relay let down by this company

I think the problem is with the PS/2 port. Even though the keyboard is communicating with south bridge of the chip set (IOCH) through the USB ports the bios recognize the PS/2 as keyboard interface. This damaged PS/2 port is recognized as keyboard interface error by the bios. If you connect a wired PS/2 key board to your PC and remove the wireless key board dongle your key board wont work. So I feel that this port has to be repaired. Or we should be able edit the BIOS with no information about the PS/2 port (recognized as keyboard interface by the BIOS) and then update your PC's BIOS.
