Installed Z77 Extreme4, PC won't turn on

Recently installed an ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 motherboard with an i5-3570k CPU and 8GB RAM. I plugged in the wires to the System Panel Header, and my PC still won't turn on. I have no other headers plugged in because the back USB ports are really enough for my needs. Double checked the power. Any help?

Did you connect the 8pin aux. power supply?

Did you try to unplug the front panel I/O leads and simply press the power button on the motherboard? If that works, you have your leads hooked up incorrectly. If it doesn't, check both your 8 pin MB and 24 pin power connectors. Makes sure power supply is plugged in to live outlet, make sure switch is on, on the PSU. I know those last two might seem remedial, but I've seen numerous people forget those.
