    Default Cannot get ASROCK Extreme77 mobo to see a PNY SSD XLR8 120GB SSD

    I am using a SATA 3 cable connecting the PNY to the SATA 3 port. Brand new components in home built system. Ivy bridge processor with 16GB of ram. ASUS Sata 3 DVD drive identifies fine. I have tried setting SATA connections to RAID, AHCI, and PCI with no luck. Any ideas would be appreciated!

    Are you hooking the drive to an Intel controlled Sata port and not the ASMedia controlled Sata port?
