    Default x58 Etreme 6 low 3.3v rail

Is there a fix for the voltage drop on the 3.3V rail? Can i beef up the trace with a piece of wire?

Not on something as complex as a mother board is, they have multiple layers and conductors we can't see. Plus it's probably not the trace, but a regulator, inductor, or capacitor that is out of spec or defective. Power circuits like these are adjusted to work with the trace resistance. I don't think it is worth voiding your warranty to do that either.

There's another recent post about this issue in the forum, so maybe (Ha!) this is a known issue to ASR, and you can RMA your board.

Are there any X58 Extreme6 users still out there that can check their MOBO for a similar problem?

    Thanks
