    Default Powercolor HD 6870 doesn't work on PCIE 3.0 slot of Asrock Z77 Pro 3

    I bought an Asrock Z77 Pro 3 and when I install the HD 6870 on PCIE 2.0 slot, everything is fine. However when I install it on PCIE 3.0 slot, there is no signal output from the card. The monitor doesn't wake up. The fan is working fine tough so I assume it is a bios issue rather than a circuit malfunctioning problem.
    Unfortunately, I can't use the PCIE 2.0 slot which is working fine because I have a PCI card installed there and it blocks the air flow to the cooler which makes the fan work at almost full speed all the time.

    I am using the latest bios (1.50).

    Any suggestions?
