    Default ASrock Z77 Extreme4 problems

    First off it wont start, it powers then shuts off immediately.

    Also where does power switch and reset switch connect to what pins? kind of confusing how its in manual

    Sounds like something's been shorted, and PS is shutting itself down. Check the debug LED indicator for verification. The connector diagram is in the inside cover page. You don't need to connect the power/reset switch for trouble shooting. The board has it's own reset and power switch.
