I've tried uninstalling Intel Rapid Start and Intel Smart Connect (which are useless for desktops, btw) technologies but I'm still getting BSOD during games. I even rolled back my video drivers to a version that I know was stable prior to the 2.20 BIOS update. Whatever they did in the latest 2.20 BIOS, they screwed up big time. I noticed in the notes of the BIOS they stated to only flash newer versions of the BIOS. I tried it reinstall 1.70 but the system stayed at 2.20. What are my options at this point? Obviously this is a software issue but if necessary, I'll just replace the motherboard if it means stable gaming.

Got the new BIOS and it still doesn't work. Still BSOD'ing.
I even tried turning PLL overvoltage to disabled but I'm still getting BSOD 124.
Going to try disabling C3 and C6 states as stated in this thread when I get off work:

Just weird that I never had this issue prior to the latest BIOS update. They never should have added Rapid Start or Smart Connect for this board; desktops don't need it and its just causing problems.

IMO Rapid start and Smart connect should not affect your boot up.
Load UEFI defaults and disable smart connect in BIOS.
