    Default ASRock/Asus USB 3.0 Card - max power output per usb port

    Hi

    i have searched ever were and even emailed asus and asrock with out replys, cant find the max power out per usb 3.0 port on the ASRock USB 3.0 Card PCI Express card or Asus USB 3.0 Card PCI Express card?

    also can you tell me which is the better card out of the two and they look totaly differant on the manufatures websites?

    also if many one know dose any one of them need external power connector to work?

    Have you downloaded the user manuals for each card to see if the specifications cover power capacity.

    Hi

    i have searched asus and asrock manuals and guides and they dont state it.

    some usb 3.0 card can do 900mA and other only 500mA.

    its depends on the setup the manufacture has used and thats why i wanted to know before buy any of them.
