    Default Cool n Quiet

I have a 880GM-LE FX motherboard and a Amd phenom ii x4 965BE running at stock but the cpu fan runs at full out. Enabled cool n Quiet in Bios but still does'nt work. Hope you can help me because this fan sounds like a banzee screaming all the time..

    Thanks

ASRock sets the CPU fan control to Full On in the BIOS, in the Monitor screen. They do that for safety reasons, but for those of us that know what we are doing, it is annoying. Go into the Monitor screen in the BIOS, set the CPU Fan control to Automatic, and adjust the base fan speed there too. You may need to set your fan type as wazza said.
