n68c-gs fx wont post with ddr2

That was why I bought it, so that I could use the ddr2, now I will need to use the ddr3 or am I missing something. I am using a rana 3x athlon am3 and it will post with ddr3 but not the ddr2.

Is your DDR2 memory in the supported memory list? Are you trying to use the DDR2 and DDR3 memory at the same time? Is there a BIOS setting for each memory type, or a jumper that must be set correctly? You may need to clear the BIOS when changing memory types.
