    Question 4coredualvsta and Radeon graphic card

    OK please bear with me as I am a noob. I have a 4coredualvsta MOBO and yes I know it is ancient in terms of tech ..but it is what I have ..My problem is I want to know if I can run a HIS IceQ H467QS1GHA Radeon HD 4670 1GB 128 bit DDR3 AGP 4X/8X HDCP video card in the above system I have a Pentium D 3.2 Ghz processor and 2 GB of memory...also a 500 watt PSU...I dont want to waste the money on this card if I cant use it ...Thank you in advance for any help or advice you may be able to give.

    Well I guess this question is going to be unanswered... I bought the card and I will see what happens ..The card is only 1.5 volts and the only caution the board showed re: AGP was not to use a 3.3 volt card ..so I am optimistic ..Thank you all for the time you took to read the thread. It is appreciated.

    Welcome to the forum.

    Your motherboard supports AGP 8X, so the video card is probably OK.
    Double check your motherboard user manual to see if there are any required jumper pin or bios settings when installing your video card.
    You might need to set some jumper pins on your video card, read the video card user manual before you install the card.
    Make sure that the motherboard video card slot is free of dust.

    Before you remove or install any hardware, always turn off your computer and unplug the the power supply cable from the wall outlet or from the back of the power supply.

    If you have any problems, describe in detail exactly what you did and what is or isn't working.

    Everything turneds out fine the card runs great with a setting of 8X and the aperture set at 64 mg .I appreciate all the help and advice ...Have an absolutely marvelous day....
