    Default K10N78hSLI-WiFi

    I currently have :
    K10N78hSLI-WiFi bios ver 1.10
    GeIL DIMM 4 GB DDR2-1066 Dual Channel
    Kingston HyperX 4GB DDR2-1066 Dual Channel
    Phenom X3 8650

    I would like to know if a Phenom x6 or Phenom x4 965 is compatable with this mobo with or without BIOS update.
    Any help would be gratefully received.

    Loading OPTIMIZED bios defaults is REQUIRED before you tweak your bios settings.
    This includes new system setups and immediately after flashing your bios!!!

    I have read it before posting. I ask because I have found similar motherboards: K10N78hSLI-Glan, K10N78hSLI-1394 which are compatibile with Phenom 965 or Phenom II X6.

    Today I received an email from Asrock Support. They send me beta bios which could support Phenom 945, 955, 965, Athlon X2 and Sempron CPU’s. For all who are struggling with the same problem as me, solution is to contact ASRock tech support at ASRock > Support Request Form.
