I assume you checked the memory compatibility chart here and saw that your memory is not listed as working.
That doesn't necessarily mean it *won't* work, but has not been yet found to work.

Sorry, I cant really recommend any cpu heat sinks/coolers, I water cool myself.

If you buy memory with tall heat spreaders, you will probably have clearance issues with an air cooled cpu setup.
Check out ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Memory Upgrades - Guaranteed Compatible Memory for your ASRock Z77 Extreme4 from Corsair to see rhe Corsair memory configuration results for your Z77 Extreme4. You can uncheck boxes on the left to narrow the search results.

For cpu cooling at 4.6GHz, you'll probably need a top tier, expensive cpu cooler. From what I've seen, high cpu temperatures usually aren't an issue when most z77 Ivy Bridge cpu's are run at ~ 4.4GHz or slightly lower. YMMV

The 16GB corsair is NOT listed on the ASrock site either. Nothing above 8GB is listed. Can anyone confirm any 16GB that works?

I'm having Win7 64 BSOD issues with my system using Patriot (PVI316G160C9QK)
