Default Using 3Tb with Win XP PRO on an ASRock B75 PRO3-M m/b and i7 3770

    Hi,
If I use a 3tb HDD on the ASRock B75 PRO3-M m/b and i7 3770 can I get the full 3Tb or will I have to use partitions under XP PRO?

I know the m/b has a 3TB Unlocker but what does this actually give me?

    .

Can't help ya here. My 3tb drives are for storage in my server.

Were I to guess, it most likely partitions it to GPT.

HERE, it looks like only XP x64 will natively access a GPT disk.

But I do see software "mounters' that will access GPT disks on XP x86. GOOGLE SEARCH "XP GPT"
