Default H61M-HVS auto boot on power on

I can't seem to find a BIOS setting to allow it to auto boot on power on. Is this possible.

So what I want to do is as soon as the power is switched on at the socket for it to boot up without needing to touch the machine itself.

I strongly advise against it, but look at "Restore on AC/Power Loss" in the BIOS.

    Code:
    Restore on AC/Power Loss
This allows you to set the power state after an unexpected AC/power loss.
If [Power Off] is selected, the AC/power remains off when the power
recovers. If [Power On] is selected, the AC/power resumes and the
system starts to boot up when the power recovers.

Great got it thanks. Somehow I didn't spot that option when I looked through.

I know this isn't a recommended setting but it works for how I need to use the machine

    Good to hear.

Yea. It's certainly not meant for your intended usage, hence my "I strongly advise against it"
