Fixed! pulled the battery out of my mobo and hit F2 to get into my ui then f9 to restore to defaults.
Ill just leave overclocking my memory alone.
Hello there,
I am having an issue when my computer prompts me to restart. It will shut off and will not turn itself back on. I have to manually hold in the power button. power it off, push it again to turn it on and then it works. bringing up the bio's screen etc.
I also have a plug from my case that is labeled restart, I figured it was to the button on my case that restarts it. Do I have to plug it in? In order for my computer to normally restart? Or is there something in the bios I must change.
I also pulled up Event Viewer and view several error warning signs..
One was on the start up it says.
Boot duration: 134634 ms.
Isdegradation: False
Did the event log online, and it omitted no results.

I'm guessing the Restart connector you case has is actually "Reset"
To normally restart from within Windows, No, you do not need/req the Reset button on you case connected to the MB.
Obviously, if you case has a Reset button it would be recommended to connect it to the correct MB header. If not, ignore it.
