Weird freeze only to one game . Bad company 2 . i use so far to play game on stock cpu ratio 16x.i use to change my cpu rato from intel extreme tuning from stock 16 to 34x . but this use to make windows under heavy load . the game play fine .

i refuse to use in wondows, software to overclock my cpu .the cpu is fast and stock on 34. but my bios on default option run it on 16x.
in some forum they say it is the onboard audio that make the freeze . but i have been playing fine this game for months . it start freezing when i change cpu ratio in bios .after so many months now i have my cpu on 3400 ,i start understand how powerfull this cpu is .

Screen from post #2 will not help to identify the device.
Open details tab and select Device ID from list. There you will find the device id strings like:
HID\VID_XXXX&PID_YYYY&REV_0100
Install any of hardware monitoring tool (HWInfo, HWMonitor,Open Hardware Monitor ) and check voltages and bclk freq under load (Your BF)
Reinstall or update to latest version your audio driver.
It looks like we have another Sandy Bridge CPU (i7-2600K) on a Sandy Bridge CPU board (P67 Extreme 4 Gen 3), and the Ivy Bridge compatible BIOS (2.10).
drreik, you have installed the version 2.10 BIOS (and 2.20 after that) which is meant for use with Intel Ivy Bridge CPUs, while you are using a Sandy Bridge CPU.
When you changed to BIOS 2.10, did you install the newer version of the Intel Management Engine (IME) software? That is required for BIOS 2.10, which is shown on your board's download page:
Supports Intel's 3rd Generation CPU.
To support Intel's 3rd Generation (Ivy Bridge) CPU, corresponding BIOS, drivers and AXTU update are required.
Click here to download required AXTU
Click here to download required Intel ME
The IME software is this version here: http://download.asrock.com/drivers/I...1410_1.5M).zip
Have you installed this software? An unknown, "Other Devices" entry in Device Manager is another thing telling me you don't have this IME software installed.
When you wrote "chipset missing as you see", that is not really true. The Intel system identification utility cannot find the Chipset Installation File, the INF file for your board's chipset, a P67. The program did find a Chipset INF file version 9.2.0.2015, which is a correct version, but it cannot find the INF file identifying your chipset because it is missing, or not updated after the BIOS 2.10 update.
Your CPU runs at 1600MHz because you have the power saving option SpeedStep enabled in the BIOS. Under load it will change to 3400MHz, that is normal.

Your full size screen did not answer, so I advise you where to look. And you put it on again.
Now we wonder at the crystal ball.
You came here to get the answer, please do what we have advised you, or ask elsewhere.
well i download your link and when i run it this mesage . this computer contains version newer than the versioon you about to install . so no need to install this older version . right?![]()
