Z77 Pro 3 MOBO Compatible VGA Cards

I recently put together my first PC Build successfully minus the video card. I attempted to install MSI R6570 MDIGD3 video card, but for some reason it would not seat properly on the mobo. I looked at the supported VGA cards on the ASROCK website, but I'm not sure if it's been updated. I was hoping for some feedback to see what has been successful for others before I exchange video cards. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Sometimes the video card's metal bracket has problems with installation.
The problem might be with the bottom of the bracket or it doesn't line up properly where it's secured to the computer case.
You might be able to loosen the screws that secure the bracket to the card and reposition the bracket so that it lines up properly.
You might need to bend the bottom of the bracket a little bit.

Check to see if the video card physically installs OK in the 2nd pci-e x16 motherboard slot.
You might need to loosen the screws that secure your motherboard to the computer case first, install the card and then tighten all screws.

Since this is your first DIY PC, did you open the locking latch on the PCIe slot? All modern boards have some type of locking mechanism that holds the card in the slot, vaguely similar to the locks that a memory card has. If the locking latch is not open, the card will not slide into the slot.

As long as you card is made for a PCIe x16 slot, it should fit. For at least five years, there has been only one standard mounting configuration for video cards, which yours has.
