icy box docking station

Hello i have a problem with the icy box docking station usb 3.0.
Mobo is B75 Pro3-M.
When i instert a hdd the hdd is not recognize exployer freezes..
Latest drivers and bios.
The icy box is working fine on my second pc...

What OS are you using, Windows? If so, what version?

What model of Icy Dock docking station are you using?

Are you using the power from the mother board only, or have a power supply for the Icy Dock itself?

Have you checked the cables and connectors? Some Icy Dock models have had bad cables and connectors.

Are you connecting the dock directly to the PC or through a hub?

Do you have the XFast USB software installed?

Never mind contacted Asrock and this mobo does not support Icy Dock or Sharkoon usb 3.0......

That's strange, as the USB 3.0 support is provided by the Intel B75 chipset, as on all Intel 7 series chipsets. I guess it is more complex than that, but given the universal nature of USB, that seems odd.

You can try using a USB 2.0 port, and the XFast USB utility, which does increase the speed.

Does your PC case have an eSATA port, and the Icy Dock?

If you use Windows 7, Intel has a new USB 3.0 driver, might be worth a try:

B75 Pro3-M have USB3.0 ports and should work with USB3.0 device normally.

Please kindly tell me the detailed information as below.
1. System config.
2. OS version
3. Driver version.
4. The detailed model name of Icy USB3.0 box docking station
5. Did you do the test on each USB3.0 ports and all USB3.0 ports have the problem?

Icy box does works fine on my media pc
Sharkoon works fine on my media pc
But on asrock icy box freezes when hd insterted...
Sharkoon works but transferring files the speed drops down to 15 mb/s
Never had problems with those divices....
Latest asrock bios intel usb drivers
Windows 7 32 bit
