If I'm reading the online manual for your MB correctly:
BIOS > Advanced > North Bridge Configuration > Primary Graphics Adapter - options are either Onboard, PCI, or PCI Express
So for your 560ti, you'd set the above to PCI Express.
G'day! So recently, I got a new NVIDIA graphics card to replace my old Intel one. I did some research on the geforce forums, and they said I should load up my BIOS and de-activate the Intel so my NVIDIA works. Unfortuantely, I don't see an option to do so in my BIOS. In fact, the BIOS itself seems very bugged. It is convinced that I am constantly holding down the left mouse button. I've tried downloading the BIOS update from the official ASRock drivers server, but I got some weird .10 file that I can't seem to load. I was wondering if you could all help me out.
tl;dr how do de-activate video card in BIOS

Cheers for the help, but sadly it didn't work. It was already set to that, and and Device manager still says it isn't the active graphics card. On another note, for some reason NVIDIA Control Panel doesn't read it.
In Device Manager see what the Properties window shows for the GTX 560 Ti driver status.
It probably says the the drivers couldn't be loaded.
Have you connected two pcie psu power cables to your video card?
Try using the x8 or even the x4 pcie slots to see if the drivers are loaded in either of the slots.
You might need to delete and reinstall the Nvidia drivers.
There might be a problem with the x16 pcie slot.
Can you borrow and test with another Nvidia video card?

I'm pretty sure that both power cables need to be connected to the video card even when there is only a light electrical load needed by the card.
I heard that video cards with an 8-pin power connector will not work if you use a 6-pin pcie power cable.
