    Question Known working 2133/2400 for the FM2A88X Extreme6+ ???

The Memory Support List ASRock host(s)(ed!) had some rather outdated or hard to find 2133 and 2400 mem.

Anyone here gotten any to work on theirs as I'm not the type to just willy-nilly start ordering and returning until I find some. All that does in increase the costs to the Manufacturer and Reseller, thus raising the prices for everyone.

Preferably 2x8GB kits but 2x4GB kits is fine with me too.

    TIA

    System Specs:

    ASRock FM2A88X EXTREME6+
    AMD A10 6800 K
    G.Skill F3-2133C9D-8GXL 2x4gig modules.

Booted right up...Ran MemTest at 1600 then change the XMP profile to 2133 @ 1.60 volts...Passed one pass...Second module was bad so I am RMA'ing the kit back to Newegg.

Ran MemTest on the one known good module for several hours with no errors...Motherboard saw it and accepted the XMP profile...On the package it does not say anything about AM2 or AM2+/APU platforms...Does say AMD AM3+/APU platforms.

    Hookem, thanks.

Yea, I found a post where someone was using F3-17000CL11D-8GBXL on theirs just fine. Not to mention NewEgg had a sale on that exact kit, so I ended up buying two kits.

Sorry to hear you had to RMA a kit. Cross my fingers and knock on wood I've never received a bad stick in all these years. Of my own accord I've killed a few DDR sticks during OC'ing .....

I have been running G.Skill RipjawsX 2x4GB DDR3-2133CL10 kit at over 2400CL10 since I built this rig in November.
