    Question Z87E-ITX Questions

Hey guys I have three questions about this motherboard.

    1) Are both fan headers truly PWM? I have found a number of different motherboards that have multiple 4 pin fan headers and yet only the CPU fan header was truly PWM controlled. Is the second one truly PWM controlled?

    2) I noticed that this motherboard comes with a headphone amp. Is this amp connected to only the front panel connections or does it work front and back?

    3) Will Appcharger ever be updated to work with other devices? I will never use an Apple product, I have a Nokia Phone as does my whole family. I would love for the charger function of my computer to work correctly with my phone as it does with Apple devices.

Okay makes me a bit concerned when 5 days pass and the company cannot answer simple questions about their boards design. Perhaps I should consider another brand.

This forum is really a user supported forum, with occasional help from ASRock directly. None of the moderators are ASRock employees.

I don't own a Z87E-ITX, but both of my ASRock boards have PWM control on the four pin fan headers, and PWM fans operate correctly on those headers.

The headphone output is available on the front and back outputs.

In my experience with charging phones with random charging devices, it is the phone itself that is rejecting the charging device. All Appcharger does is keep power supplied to the USB ports when the PC is shutdown, and possibly apply more power to the device for quicker charging.
