    Default ASRock FM2A88X Extreme6+ and DDR3 2133

When I originally bought this board I also got an A10 6800 and was able to run my memory just by enabling XMP 1(2133) and it ran great but now that I have my A10 7850 I have to run it at the XMP 2 spec which is 1866. I've tried three different brands of 2133 to no avail but can get all three to run at 1866. AMD states that the A10 7850 supports 4 sticks @2133, so I'm assuming that I'm not configuring something right? I've read on peoples blogs where they had the same issue with the same setup to just give up and settle for the 1866 spd.

    Thank you for your time

Please read and follow #1 in my Sig. At least the part/kit numbers of the memory you wish to use in this build.

Bump your CPU/NB by +0.05 and retry. Just watch your temps aren't exceeded while following that advice.

And where is it that AMD states 4 sticks @ 2133 is officially supported? I've seen 2 sticks @ 2133, but not 4 so I'd like to bookmark here the link(s) you offer.
#1 - Please, when seeking help, enter the make and model of ALL parts that your system is comprised of in your Signature, or at least the model #'s in your System Specs, then "Save' it.

#3 - Please use the PSU Calculator found HERE to determine if it might be the PSU causing issues. I do(Lifetime PRO ver.) and will mention so if it is marginal for your build.
____Consider your PSU to be the foundation from which all else is built upon. Anything built upon a weak foundation is poorly built.

Thank you for the response. You'll have to give me a moment on finding AMD location but I assure I read it. It stated that 2133 and below are officially supported by the APU in all banks but would only support 2 sticks 0f 2400 with an OC. Which is why I went with 2133. I learned my lesson with AM3+ ;)
