Default ASRock z87 Extreme6 - Voice Audio Recording Issues

    Hey there!

The audio is cutting out even after updating the realtek audio drivers & the USB 3.0 drivers. Also, the instant flash freezes without letting me select the bios. Here is a link to what the audio sounds like: Shadowplay Audio Cutting - YouTube

We've gone to advanced audio settings and set the audio quality to DVD, saw some improvement but the quality isn't where I want it to be. The issue persists if we change USB ports or use 3.5mm audio jacks. We've even switched headsets and recording software.

    Any help is amazing!!

So the below Thread hasn't been resolved yet? parsec mentioned audio issues with x.xx BIOSes so I'd imagine you want to resolve that issue first to determine if it is in fact the cause.

#1 - Please, when seeking help, enter the make and model of ALL parts that your system is comprised of in your Signature, or at least the model #'s in your System Specs, then "Save' it.

#3 - Please use the PSU Calculator found HERE to determine if it might be the PSU causing issues. I do(Lifetime PRO ver.) and will mention so if it is marginal for your build.
____Consider your PSU to be the foundation from which all else is built upon. Anything built upon a weak foundation is poorly built.
