I need some advice

So I can easily say that I don't know much about computers.
I was thinking about upgrading my ASUS laptop.
but I don't even know which laptop I have.
so my question can someone give me step by step instructions (like straight barney style) to helping me find all the info that was requested when registering for this forum.
I'm really lost in the sauce when it comes down to computer stuff.

Well my dear i would like to say you that you should purchase a new laptop than upgrade to your old one laptop because you have no idea and knowledge about computers & now the technology have introduce many new technical and latest laptops in Core i3 to i7 serial ...........
