Onboard sound card

Hi,

I own a GA-IPE1000 Pro motherboard and have a question about the onboard sound card.

Basically, I want to know if I use the front audio option, does this mean the audio connectors are disabled at the back? Or both front and rear audio connectors are enabled?

i don't know about the sound on that specific mobo, but on mine the front jacks take priority (yes, both are still enabled). As in, if I have my speakers pluged into the rear jack and then plug my headphones into the front jack, my speakers cut out; unplug the headphones and the speakers kick back in.

Simple way to know would be to just try it and find out ;)

Cool, thanks. I wanted to save time because it'll take me an hour to connect the individual wires from the Super LanBoy to the mobo.
