Hey
was wondering if someone short could explain the difference between those 2 and when you need what.
I want to attach a 3rd monitor, but this requires me to use a DP on the GFX card and my monitors only have vga/dvi/hdmi.
Got a His 6879 IceQ X now so I'll have to get a miniDP adapter, but will upgrade to another card in the near future. Atm I don't get to game anyway, and the card pulls fine for productivity with 3 monitors.

gotta love the wonders of localised googles... not always the same results. Thanks a bunch. And as that post states, a lot of confusing and contradicting infos on the web about it. Read one thing here and another there.
