i had some free time on my hands i've made a template for TT, i wasn't sure where to put this, so here:
i hope Mr. Tweak will consider using my layout as one of the templates.

oh, i don't mean as the main one, but maybe have it as a selection, add a lil variety around here :)
You might wanna reconsider the graphic intensive header there. That's a lot of graphic. As well as adding a proper TT logo in there. Just resample the whole thing blue, replace all the TT wording with the blue n white logo and it'll be closer. :)
Still looks sweet though. Nice work.

graphic intensive header = whhich bit? the white strip bit with TT Forums?
TT logo the one now on the top left?
and changing to blue = no problem :D

can't do it tonite, but i'll post up a new version of it tomorrow if i got some more time :)
The graphic bit being the entire top 1/3 of the page. There's too much picture and not enough forum. Plus it'll just help chew up bandwidth.

nah it won't, not if i save it as .gif that's more than half of the image and it's only 80kb when it's .jpg.
gif won't look as smooth will it? And still, that's a fairly big file compared to what's on at the moment.
