I dont think the 9600xt comes with overdrive, and why are you so mad...overdrive just auto-oc your card, stop being lazy and download radclocker, rivatuner or rage3d and overclock your card yourself..: peace2:
has the 9600xt overdrive come with the new catalyst 3.10?or am i going to have to wait longer![]()

Yes, the new 3.10 Catalyst drivers include the Overdrive feature for the 9600XT, infact the older 3.9 drivers were the first to introduce it.
If you do plan on doing manual overclocking as AsianBatman suggested, I reccomend Rage3D tweak.

Right Click on your desktop and click properties, go to the settings tab and click advanced. One of the tabs in this window should be labled OVERDRIVE(tm). This is where you can enable overdrive.
This tab will not show up unless the driver detects you have a Radeon 9600XT or 9800XT.

So obviously ATi still hasn't implimented it in its drivers for the R9600XT yet but I wouldn't want something that would change speeds up and down whenever software dictates. Just go and d/l one of those overclockin' utilities mentioned b4 as at least they'll keep the clock speeds set where you specify. From ATi's Overdrive FAQ page
[b]Q4: What ATI products support ATI OVERDRIVE™?
A4: Currently ATI OVERDRIVE™ is only supported on the RADEON™ 9800 XT and RADEON™ 9600 XT (upon availability).![]()
I dont really care about the overdrive feature now, but im just curious, anyone have that feature with a 9600 XT on a catalyst 3.10?

This message was taken from ATi's site well after the 3.10's were released so maybe the release of the 3.11's may have it. :rolleyes2From ATi's Overdrive FAQ page

Ok the new 4.1 Cat driver gives support for the Overdrive feature on R9600XT cards.![]()
