Were to download drivers...

I was wondering if there was a program that could scan for missing or out-of-date drivers and give me somewere to download them, I found one program but its 30$ to download. :(

I was wondering if there was a free program that would do the same :twisted:

You should just update drivers yourself. Even if a good one existed, I wouldn't trust some program to find my drivers for me. Go to the web sites of whatever companies manufactered your chipset and video card based on what CPU-Z and Control Panel\System\Hardware\Device Manager say your video card and chipset are. You shouldn't have to do this often, there's no need for a program.

Usualy a missing Driver or .vxd like the missing mouse driver"vmouse win98se" would cause a Problem, so you would know , but you could just do some home work and Pop ya case and see what the Brand names and model numbers, writing this down should help, then going to their specific manufactures website and searching for the lastest drivers, sound, motherboard,bios,Graphics card, and Stoarge controller if you have one like a Promise ultra xxxxxxx for a raid setup....

Well, if you're running Windows 98/98SE, then that's another story. You'll have to replace the missing .vxd files as described herefor maximum stability.
