A few more details would help a lot like the specs of the PC (motherboard, cpu, etc) and what operating system you're using. :smokin:

I'm trying to install my brand new Visontek Xtasy GeForce4 Ti 4200. At first I was getting a "The data is invalid" message which I fixed by editing the registry. Now the install looks like it's about to finish when I get a "The system cannot find the file specified". To make it more confusing, it doesn't tell me which file.

first check to see if you can uninstall the driver in add/remove programs. if so do. if not go to setting/adapter and remove the video card then install standard pci-vga driver. reboot and go to windows/system and remove all files that start with nv. then install the driver that came or get one from nvidia.com
