Default case painting

ok i was thinking about doin some mods on my case and i was wondering what methods of painting cases there are...can you spray paint cases?

I've spray painted many cases and as long as you sand and prime it, and put a clear coat on it, it holds great and looks spectacular.

Sorry for bumping an old thread but I was just curious as to why you would want to do this, why not just buy a case the color you want? how do you sand aluminum? Also, what is a Clear Coat exactly? Is it just like spraypaint except its clear? thanks

Most normal people do this to the plain old steel beige cases.

That's exactly what it is and if done right gives the base colour extra depth and shine.

I think clear coat makes stuff looky cheesy. It gives things too much of a shine. I prefer to use a flat based protectant that gives more protection than clear coating without the shine.
