I don't mean to spam, so I apologize if this is out-of-line here, but I thought all of you might want to know about my recent project.

I'm the guy who was recently featured on TechTV TechLive with the Millenium Falcon mod.

I've put together a DVD for sale that has me talking about my other mods (such as a basic case with window, baybus, etc. and also my MAME cabinet, plus others) and also has the complete 24 minute video of the building of the Falcon.

You can purchase the DVD over at http://www.xkill.com

Again, sorry if this is against the rules or anything. I didn't see anything in the FAQ about what should/shouldn't be posted.

Thanks for the kind words!

Actually, I have submitted the case the other day (via email) to Maximum PC for "rig-of-the-month" thing. We'll see if they get back to me.

Also, PC Format magazine (the UK sister magazine to Maximum PC) has expressed some interest so we'll see where that goes.

Actually, there is a lot that the pictures don't show. The power light actually fades in & out in all sorts of colors (red, green, blue, yellow, purple, etc.), the back exhaust ports actually have running fans, the two white headlights are drive activity lights, and there is a window showing the actual hard drive working (and blue light to accompany it). Also, lighted engine bay. A few more quick picks...

As for selling it... too much work to sell it for anything near what I spent on it.

I do have the DVD showing how it was made (plus some other mods I did, at least one of which is of similar quality). I have to admit, so far the amount of people buying it is somewhat disappointing.

I wasn't really intending to sell a lot of the videos, but with modding being such a hot topic these days I'm surprised there hasn't been more interest.

Oh well...

that falcon is neato, and very unique.
