My neon is not the color i wanted... help me change it

Hi, i bought a red neon but it is not exacly the kind of red i want it, its more like pink-orange :( can you gimme ways to make it more red ? (I tought of adding a red transparent plastic sheet on it but i found none around were i live, do you guys have other alternatives?) :wink:

i think most red neons are actually more pinky orange than red.
i think the only way to make it redder would be using a piece of red transparent plastic of some description

Your SOL. CC/Neons generally aren't the exact color they say, they tend to be a bit brighter

Its been my experience that the pics displayin the neons/Cold cathodes in the advertising are altered. I was in the same boat. Saw a cain ass red cathode advertised, looked good. I got it, was pink as.

Got a green one now - Looks alot closer to the pick then the red ever did....

But, I did have some success using red celefain, but that does make it a fair bit dimmer.
