I currently own a Barton 2600+ O/C @ 2800+ and its running at full load at about 37 degres celcius, i would like to know what is the max temps i can reach,( ill go a little lower than that though) becauser im sure i can overclock more but i dont wanna burn my CPU

the max temp or the max safe temp? It's best to keep it as far under 60 C as possible. Personally, I'm unconfortable with anything over 50 C and prefer it to be below 45 C.

well, mine when it gets under high loads, get around 37 degres, maybe i could clock it up a little !?!?!? :confused:

60°C is the max. Stay as far away from it as you can

I would up it a little. When your load temps start getting between 43-45, I would stop there. :2cents: , : peace2: Mista K6

as you can see my signature i overclocked it at 2128 mhz ( around 2900+) and now my temp at medium load is around 43 degres
