Ahhhh. No they do not. They are more expensive, but they are built super tough. I bet for around $80 you can find the Eheim 1250 I run that puts out around 320GPH and they are renowned for their reliability.

Hey guys im back and ready to start my water cooling again. After my first failed atempt I decided to wait a while and spend a little more money on it. This is what i have bought (Ordered it today 10/7/06).
From frozencpu: All for $63.00 with shipping http://www.frozencpu.com/products/22...KjE6&mv_pc=224 http://www.frozencpu.com/products/40...KjE6&mv_pc=225 http://www.frozencpu.com/products/40...KjE6&mv_pc=226 Pump from PetSmart because i couldent find an ehiem pump anywhere so I got this for $70.00 with tax. http://www.pentairaquatics.com/2005/...il/Q1_2200.htm this pump is odd because they didnt have it on the PetSmart site, but oh well, it's like an ehiem 1250 but i dont know if it is as reliable as the ehiem yet. And I already have my water block and that too I got from Frozencpu: For $40.00 with shiping http://www.frozencpu.com/products/20...KjE6&mv_pc=627 All tubing is 1/2in. So what do u guys think!!!!

It sounds awesome! so, you set up the tubing in the comp, run the tubes to the pump (submerged in liquid?) with the radiator doing what? I know that my guess is wrong.
zaqwsx, your water cooling setup looks awesome, how much have you oce'd your proc? |

buhweet radiators radiate. That is their entire function. I'll try to explain the thermodynamics involved in a far over simplified manner: Water is pumped through the small tubes in the radiator and cooled due to some of the heat being transfered to the metal. The radiator in turn loses the heat to the air (radiates) because of the large exposed surface area that is presented to the air. The air in turn is often forced through the radiator with a fan thereby increasing the amount of heat loss.
I did a quick google for a basic guide and came up with this: http://reviews.ebay.com/How-To-Water...:-1:LISTINGS:4 . It is'nt by any means a definitive guide but it may give you some idea of the parts and their usage.
