When upgrading cpu cooler do you remove the motherboard from the case so
not to bend? Thank you for you time.

it's usually not nessesary, but if you're worried about it go ahead. It may make the hsf easier to take on and off if you remove the mobo first, but that really depends on the case. Get some plastic mobo stand-offs to go around the socket to make things easier for you in the future.

Make sure to put something under the mobo, like the foam that came in the box. So the wires that poke through don't push through if there is a solder connection that isn't the best. Or just for overall safety for the back of the mobo.
