Please list your cpu temp idle and load. List your cpu temp. with case model, fans(list number of intake and outake), motherboard and hsf. :cheers: And oh yea, the room temp. I want to do this for a experiment i am doing at school, and gathering info. I am not sure what to call it or what the lay out is but i need people to be honest! Science Fair here i come....(just aiming for an A not no prize )

AMD Athlon XP 1700+ o/c'ed to 200X10= Idle:42C Load: 45C HSF: Kingwin KCU-7025 Case fans: 1 120mm intake, 1 80mm exhaust Mobo: EPoX EP-8RGA+

The room temp is about 28C

2 ball bearing 80x80x25mm Intake fans in the front of the case, and 2 ball bearing 80x80x25mm exhaust fans in the rear. 1 LED exhaust fan on top.

CPU Temp Idle:34C Load:39C , HSF:Standard Intel , Case Temp Idle:32 Load:34 , Standard Room Temperature:32C

I didn't know you can get those temps with stock cooling...

It's the case and great fan placement. The fans flow right over the hard drives and the cpu and with two intake and three exhaust fans the air movement really takes care of the heat.

XP2600+ @ 2.26GHz with Volcano 7+ on medium speed in Enermax 710B case w/ window (UNEEC clone case). 5 x 80mm 34cfm fans fitted as 2 front intakes, 1 AGP/PCI intake and 2 rear exhausts. Room temp 19C.

Same deal as above but an XP1800+ @ 2.09GHz and no window. :cheers:

BTW who runs at idle? :confused:

i have Icue model (bad airflow). The ICUE came with outake on sidepanel, outake on the back. (Crap) So i bought a few fans, and made new holes, 2 intake on bottom, 1 in front and 1 outake on top, and i made the side panel a intake too. So together i get 4 intakes, and 3 outakes( one is a pci slot). My room temp is around 91F ....hot ass a F***er. I have Volcano 7+ XE with AS3. HSF is running by sensor mode, my idle is 39C and load is 47C. (soda not berr)

My lowest idle and load is 33 and 45. But since my room is a steam room!! That isn't gonna happen anymore.

How do ya get a Volcano 7+ "Xaser Edition" when www.thermaltake.com doesn't even list it? :confused:
