I have a Zalman with the fan mounted on a bracket above the heatsink.
Yesterday I fitted the Volcano 7+,but seem to cause problems, temps went up not down,If I turned the speed of the fan up the pc rebooted. Don't know if my PSU is up to it,its a 300W,running AMD xp1800+ 80GB HD+20GB hd CD Drive CD Burner. With Thermal take fan for intake and Enermax for exhaust I am running temps of cpu 55 system 42 CPU usage at 100% as I'm running one of these background cancer research number cruncher applications. Also did find the Volcano a bit too noisy,PC is in Lounge Room |

First of all make sure that the clip has been installed the right way around (the pressure point should be right over the core) and secondly I hope that ya not powering it from the mobo. :?:

Quoted from the GlobalWin Website like a year ago. lol......
"When your feeling so damn hot during the summer, do you prefere for a fan to be blowing air on you? Or sucking it away from you?" .....that's what I thought! :p
