EDIT: A pic of the direct airflow from the 60mm through the HS to the 92mm can be found in this thread

Naw man, there's nothing foolish about wanting to try stuff. I'd say just do it, but take your temps before and after to see if it works. Moving or removing fans is no big deal, and you can always put them back. Heck, you could try just unplugging that one fan and see if it makes a difference. Are you just trying to make it quieter by removing a fan?

Hey man i was just sitting there noticing on you case the nice dell signature vents  If you want to improve your airflow somewhat cut out all that metal holed venting and that usually will drop the temps 2-3 degrees at least! Use a dremel to do your dirtywork tho they work good for that!

Heh, I actually want to restrict air flow, as I'm having much more out than in already (About 60cfm out, 40cfm in). My mobo is a pos dell, so I really cant take temps beyond the touch test. Right now the HS is barely warm, it used be very hot without the intake fan. So, I'll try and see how warm it is without the exhaust. Anyways, thx for feed back. : peace2: Mista K6

bad idea, even after I turned the 60mm up on full blast (which is barely audible, dont know why I turned it down before), after 10 minutes of playing ut2k3 my fps started to drop wicked, so I shut down the comp and the HS was too hot to touch :( . Ah well, maybe I'll get a stealth fan and turn that down  . Just posting in case anyone had thoughts of doing the same. : peace2: Mista K6
